What Is A Property Survey?

Searches only relate to legal matters. All purchasers are strongly advised to have a property survey carried out by an RICS chartered surveyor. This is a detailed inspection of the property’s condition and will tell you if there are structural problems with the building or highlight any major repairs or alterations that may be needed. Your surveyor will also advise you on whether it is worth renegotiating the asking price for the property based on the work that needs to be done.
