Philosophy Cafe TBC 2012

Legal News

The next Philosophy Cafe, 25th April 2012 at 7pm for 7.30pm

Tickets for Philosophy Cafe on wednesday 25th April sold out already!  If you don't have a ticket you can join the waiting list as there may be cancellations.

Our next "Philosophy Café" in Lincoln  will be held at Café Portico ( near the Collection) on Wednesday 25th April at 7 pm for 7.30pm. Note this is an evening meeting. We decided not to be bound by past practice.
The theme for consideration is:  "How constrained are we by the past?"

'While we prize independence and autonomy, especially in respect of our decisions, we are also creatures of habit. That is,  we are strongly disposed to repeat what we have done before and even that which our parents did before we were born. This Philosophy Cafe will consider the extent to which the futures we seek for ourselves are constrained by our past'.

Discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Roderick Orner. His book 'Seeking Change We Recreate The Past' is due for publication late 2012.

Tickets are Free and can be obtained from Dale and Co. Solicitors, Lincoln
or email aroberts@dale-law.co.uk
